What happened to jesus after he was resurrected. where did he go?

As it says in the New Testament, can't remember exactly where, Jesus went to [spirit] prison to teach those that were there. This was after His death. When He was resurrected, he visited his apostles, though before He ascended to His Father He visited Mary.
