Was my doctor stupid?

yes you are totally right. He was a d*ck. Very insensitive, not a good doctor. I have a history of deppression and if i didn't have a good doctor i can't imagine were i would be now. It is also not his position to comment and put you down about your dreams. Its not in his job description to give you career advice.
