Brain puzzles that use a graph, and include clues?

I got a puzzle at school where there is a graph, some names, and some details, and you have to try to find out who belongs to which. ex. sally owns the dalmation named pogo with the blue collar. there are clues that help you solve them. does anyone know what these puzzles are called and where i can print some off for free on the internet?
