Liar, Liar: Between Father and Daughter?

For anyone who's seen it: When Patrick was in bed with Kelly and he professed his hate for their dad, how he hurt all of them and how he hoped he would stay in jail long enough that when he got out he would be big and stop him from ever hurting them again, was that a revelation that not only did he abuse Kelly and her big sister, but he was abused too? This is probably the most touching story of ual abuse I've ever seen. I never knew just how loyal siblings could be even though they don't show it (or even know it) right away.
