Refreezing Chicken that is unthawed in the fridge?

I bought some large raw chicken last night and wasnt thinking and put it in the freezer. This makes it hard to seperate them. I ususally cut them up and seperate them all out into individual baggies. I woke up this morning and realized and didnt know what to do. Can I defrost them in the refrigerator and refreeze them after i cut them? PLEASE let me know!
